Tim, Tim, nice but...Remotely Dim!

Today, with the help of my ol' man...a remote control dimmer switch was fitted in my bedroom. This allows me to switch on/off , raise/lower the light levels in my room with the aid of any remote.

Programming the switch to accept a specifc remote code from a particular remote was a doddle. All that needed to be done was to tap the sensor 6 times and press the remote button you wanted to use.

This is an invaluable asset to a lazy sod like myself who can't be bothered to get up to turn the light off...just like YOU!
